CASE STUDY #1 - SOLE PROPRIETOR
A photojournalist was seeking to more thoroughly enjoy his craft, generate
increased revenue via longer-term client commitments and improve productivity
and compliance.
LOPT Consultants first established a limited liability company for the sole
proprietor. Existing insurance, warranties and vendor contracts were reviewed. A
business plan was drafted and implemented. Integral to this plan was a marketing
and sales strategy to ensure more reliability in monthly revenues and new
business generation. Tactical recommendations implemented included: improved
office technology and utilization of time management and communication tools. The
client then entered into a longer-term strategic relationship with LOPT Consultants
for ongoing back-office and administrative support services.

CASE STUDY #2 - ESTABLISHED SMALL BUSINESS
An established landscape architect was seeking to expand his existing business in
addition to starting up a construction management company capable of building his
premier designs for the high-net worth client.
LOPT Consultants assisted the existing company as follows: established human
resources policies and procedures; hired new employees; evaluated existing
service contracts and replaced as necessary; expanded insurance coverages and
legal protections; coordinated and oversaw relocation into new commercial space;
and managed the implementation of new server and workstation technology.
In the establishment of the new company, LOPT Consultants filed business
licensures and related governmental compliance; arranged financing and
purchase of new equipment; established relationships with banking, legal and
accounting professionals; defined strategy and managed the tactical approach to
project management and day-to-day operational needs.
Both companies continue via monthly business agreements for both strategic and
daily operational support services.
CASE STUDY #3- SOLE PROPRIETOR WITH CONTRACTOR STAFF
The owner of a salon established nine years ago was seeking to better utilize his
commercial space, increase revenues and improve the morale and cohesiveness
of his team of stylists.
LOPT Consultants conducted one-on-one interviews with the owner and the
contractors, evaluated day-to-day operations, current market trends, client
requests and reviewed all related expense and revenue sources. A business plan
was then drafted and implemented which included: reassignment of services in the
existing commercial space; integration / marketing of new beauty products and
services; developed three-month ‘catch-up’ plan to bring equity to rent / cost-
sharing agreements between owner and contractor.
Additionally, LOPT Consultants conducted an educational / team-building meeting
to explain the new business model and to offer guidance on improving teamwork in
a group. A letter of understanding of salon expectations, policy and procedures
was signed by all parties.
The client has requested that LOPT Consultants conduct ongoing monthly
evaluations of progress and suitability as the current economic business climate
evolves.
LOPT Consultants is the business and strategic management
department of Life On Point Therapy, LLC.
